Rescue Technician
On-Call / Seasonal / Contract • $28–$45/hr, depending on assignment, experience, and certifications
All Hazards Response is seeking Rescue Technicians to support field assignments requiring technical rescue awareness, operational discipline, and specialized response capability. Assignments may include remote events, austere race support, incident deployments, standby operations, and specialized field missions.
Rescue Technicians may assist with hazard identification, rescue standby, field safety, team movement, patient access support, equipment readiness, and coordination with public safety or agency partners. This role requires strong judgment, fitness, technical competence, and a safety-first mindset.
Candidates should also have experience operating in remote or difficult terrain. Off-road driving experience is required, and ATV/UTV driving experience is strongly preferred for assignments involving trail systems, remote access routes, fire roads, or austere field operations.
Certifications
- Required: CPR-BLS / Rope Rescue I
- Preferred: Rope Rescue II, Swiftwater, Confined Space, Trench Rescue, Hazmat Ops, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, ICS 800. Off-road driving experience required. ATV/UTV experience strongly preferred.
